We offer our school lunch program free to your school as a viable alternative to a program administered with your staff and volunteer’s valuable time and to a full service cafeteria. As a commitment of service to your school, Schoolhouse Fare donates a percentage of the lunch sales to your school. Additionally, we offer numerous fundraising opportunities for the school and parent associations with the option of adding school purchased items to the daily menu.
Along with the management of your lunch program, Schoolhouse Fare provides your school with a user-friendly online lunch order and payment system to facilitate the great lunch options for the students. The daily lunch menu offers a variety of nutritious ala carte choices so that your family can create your child’s daily lunch with food items that they will enjoy. To provide these quality lunches, popular family dining restaurants have been carefully selected to prepare and deliver the fresh lunches which raises the bar over menus of processed foods.
Our team will work with your school to customize a daily menu that will contribute to a balanced diet within the Recommended Dietary Allowances for children 4-18 years of age. To support this service, we have contracted with the well-known nutrition expert “Dr. Ann” (Ann G. Kulze, M. D.), to review the nutritional profile of our menu. On the Schoolhouse Fare daily menu, Dr. Ann offers her "Top Pick for Health" as a suggestion to selecting a reasonably balanced and nutritious lunch. Researchers, doctors, and school administrators are finding that good nutrition for children often results in improvement of student learning and behavior. As the owners of Schoolhouse Fare, we are stay-at -home Moms who have experienced the need to have a convenient lunch program that offers nutritional lunch selections in addition to popular lunch items for our children. We created Schoolhouse Fare, LLC to meet these needs. With our combined experience in lunch program administration, business management/scheduling, and school volunteer work, we can provide dependable, efficient, and attentive customer service so that your students can enjoy a daily delicious and nutritious lunch.
Since 2007, Schoolhouse Fare has provided over 450,000 school lunches to approximately 2,000 students in South Carolina private schools. This represents an approximate 60-70% participation within each school indicating the success of our program.
