Established quality restaurants and caterers prepare and deliver the lunches to the school. The lunches are individually packaged and labeled for easy distribution.
Schoolhouse Fare's menus are transfat free. The menu includes nutritious offerings as well as popular lunch choices. Gluten free and organic items are offered when available. On a daily basis, vegetarian, wheat and whole grain items are offered with calcium rich and protein rich items.

Schoolhouse Fare's lunch program is available nationally. Currently the program is being utilized in schools located in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The program can be implemented in cities throughout the United States where we have participating restaurants.
Once your school contracts with Schoolhouse Fare to be the school's lunch provider, registration and ordering instructions are provided by Schoolhouse Fare. If you did not receive instructions from the school, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your school has not contracted with Schoolhouse Fare, you will not be able to use this service. Please ask your school's administrator or PTO to contact us for more information on how to implement Schoolhouse Fare into your school.
There is no service fee to use our program.
The Schoolhouse Fare lunch program can be implemented into the school at any time during the year, even after the school year has begun. Once we have contracted with the restaurants and caterers, parents can begin to register and order within one week.
The monthly menus are posted mid-month prior to the start of the lunch period. Email reminders are sent to each registered account prior to the posting date and before the due date.
The lunch orders need to be placed up to 5 days prior to the lunch date. For an added convenience, a 24-hour menu is posted for ordering by noon on the day prior to the selected lunch date.
A minimum order fee may be assessed for total transactions that are under $10.00
We accept payment by debit card or credit card: Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. We accept personal checks unless designated otherwise.
Please note that credits are not typically issued for missed lunches. In the event of an illness or family emergency, contact Schoolhouse Fare 24 hours prior to the scheduled lunch delivery to cancel the lunch and receive a credit. Credits issued by Schoolhouse Fare and not used to purchase additional meals can be refunded by submitting a request to email@example.com. Refunds that are submitted by Schoolhouse Fare will be for the credit amount less a 10% processing fee. Please note credits will only be processed within the current school year and will not carry over into the following school year(s).
Our servers are hosted in the Digital Ocean cloud, a secure and reliable hosting service used by numerous companies worldwide. We do not store credit card data on our servers. Our secure site uses 2048-bit SSL encryption for all transactions and undergoes strict security audits each and every month to ensure PCI DSS compliance. We have Disaster Recovery back up in the event of any catastrophic failure. We have an average up time of 100%.
